Requirements
- Enlisted U.S. military veteran
- Enrolled at an accredited college or university
- Available for the entire 10-week program that will run from June 18 to August 23, 2024
- We will consider applicants who need to miss up to 1 week of the program, but strong preference will be given to applicants who can attend the entire 10-week program
- Interested in a STEM discipline related to bioengineering
- Students may not undertake any other projects, courses, or employment during this program
Expectations
Upon being accepted to Caltech DIVE, students sign an agreement to fulfill the following requirements:
- To devote full effort to participating in DIVE (Fellows cannot take courses or hold another job)
- To conduct research in person
- To participate in the project for the full ten-week period
- To give a final oral presentation
- To abide by Caltech's Honor Code
